The top three products were toys, 55 in the order, accounting for 38.73%. 25 motor vehicles, accounting for 17.61%; 10 cosmetic cases, accounting for 7.04%. The top three countries and situations in which notifications were issued were Germany with 26 cases, accounting for 18.31%; 24 cases in Poland, accounting for 16.90%; There were 15 cases in France, accounting for 10.56%. Chinese exports were notified of 66 cases, accounting for 46.48 percent of the total. The top three reported products and situations in China are toy products in 38 cases, accounting for 57.58%; 7 cases of electrical products, accounting for 10.61%; 4 lamp strings, accounting for 6.06%. These three types of products accounted for 74.24% of the total number of Chinese products notified by the security door system during the same period. The top three countries and situations that reported the number of Chinese products were Poland 21 cases, accounting for 31.82%; the Czech Republic 8 cases, accounting for 12.12%; Five cases were reported in Hungary, accounting for 7.58%. These three countries accounted for 51.52 percent of the total number of Chinese products notified.

Ii. Reasons for notification

Toys: In June 2022, 38 toys exported from China to the European market were reported by the security door system, mainly plastic toys, crystal clay toys, electric toys, etc. The types of reported risks are mainly chemical risks, asphyxiation risks caused by the shedding of small parts, etc. The main reason for the notification is that the products do not comply with the Toy Safety Directive, European standard EN71-1, REACH, RoHS2 directive, etc.

Electrical products: In June 2022, electrical products exported from China to the European market were notified by the security door system 7 times, mainly USB chargers and hair dryers. The types of reported risks are mainly environmental risks and electric shock risks. The notified reason is that the products do not comply with the low voltage directive, RoHS2 directive, EN62368, and so on.

Lamp string products: In June 2022, 4 lamp string products exported from China to the European market were reported by the security door system, mainly LED lamp string. The main types of reported risks are electric shock risks. The main reason for the notification is that the product does not comply with the low voltage directive and EN60598, etc.

Case analysis

Case analysis of Toy Product Notification:
