According to Sensor Tower's store intelligence platform, a total of 43 Chinese manufacturers made it into the top 100 grossing global mobile game publishers in November 2022. Thanks to the strong performance of new games launched by Tencent and Chaoxi Lightyear in overseas markets, these 43 vendors together raked in $2.07 billion, up 11.3% from October, and accounted for 40.2% of the global Top 100 mobile game publishers' revenue for the period, as detailed below.

TOP30 mobile game publishers in China by revenue
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, a second-order shooter released by Tencent overseas in early November, topped the iOS mobile game download charts in several markets including the US, Japan, and South Korea on its launch day. Its art, story setting, and combat mechanics were well-received by players. In November, the game ranked No. 1, No. 3 in Japan, No. 3 in South Korea, and No. 18 in the United States, respectively. It also topped the top-grossing mobile games overseas, grossing over $100 million. Thanks to the game, Tencent's game revenue grew by 20% month-on-month in November, and the company became the fourth highest-grossing mobile game publisher in Japan, behind Konami, Square Enix, and Bandai Namco. NIKKE, jointly created by Chinese and South Korean manufacturers, is undoubtedly the most popular new game in 2022. Its success in the international market will also lead to a new wave of mobile game competition in the new wave.

The combination of mini-games and core gameplay has been popular in the recent overseas buying market. Diandian Interactive's placed card game Valor Legends: Dog Rescue has also seen rapid growth through this strategy. November revenue surged 222% month-on-month, bringing the publisher back to # 27.

Outside the list, the Chinese mobile game publishers that made it into the TOP100 by global revenue were 43 in order: Toeic, Heart.com, Star Entertainment, Bock City, Hero Entertainment, Arue Technology, Competitive World, Purple Dragon Games, Bingchuan Network, Mattel163, Bilibili, Friendship Shigang, and Zhuohang Network.
